Close BeamMP and BeamNG. Go to your Windows search, type %localappdata%/BeamNG.drive/latest/temp/ and clear the temporary downloads folder. Restart the BeamMP launcher as Administrator and reconnect.
This happens when the BeamMP master authentication server takes a moment to issue your handshake token. Open the BeamMP launcher window, wait 5 seconds until it says"Connected to Backend", then launch the game.
Only mods installed on the server can be seen by other players. If you spawn a non-server car, other players will see an orange"Missing Model" placeholder. Request cars to be added in our Discord #beamng-suggestions channel!
